New Static 4 trailer released

static4Josh Stewart revealed a brand new Static 4 video is being worked on and released this new trailer over the weekend. Get hyped for another incredible full length at some point.

“I wanted to wait and not put any kind of advertisement, hype, trailer or teaser out at all until one random day when we’d just announce “Static 4 is premiering in 3 days”. I’m pretty over the endless hyping of everything these days only to find yourself disappointed in the end. I think that if something is strong and meaningful it will pop without having to pre-hype the shit out of it. But every new online video that pops up ends up kind of stepping on one little element of the project we’ve been working on for half a decade. So I figure it’s best to get something out there and make it official. So, what the hell. Here you go my dudes.”

Crossfaith

Crossfaith
‘ZION’
Search & Destroy Records

Many bands find it very difficult to mix metal and electro/dubstep together, but not Crossfaith. They mix the two into pure beauty.

The Japanese 5-piece use electric sound effects to add catchy melody and unique, well formed structures and have clearly developed since their debut album ‘The Dream, The Space’ released back in 2011.

‘Jagerbomb’ was recently released as the band’s first single from ‘Zion’. The song consists of head-banging riffs and deadly screams that can drop a man dead. They somehow manage to make heavy screaming music into something that you can jump around as if you were a kangaroo.

‘Dialogue’ starts with a slow, tense electronic beat which reminds you of old school rave reminiscent of the late 80’s scene and ends with some epic wob. Only time will tell whether they’ll fit in with the UK’s hardcore scene, as they are set to support Bring Me The Horizon on their UK tour this April so put that in your dairy and look out for the EP which is out now.

New Black Sabbath album announced without Bill Ward

Rock legends BLACK SABBATH have announced the title of their new album, ’13’ over the weekend, which will be released this coming June. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler are all involved, but Bill Ward’s involvement on drums has been overlooked following last summer’s tour where Ward was also not involved.

Bill Ward has been replaced by Brad Wilk who has previously hit drums for Rage Against The Machine. So sad to think that they could do this to Bill after all these years. We also noticed that their new website has chopped Bill’s image from every photo.
