The Flip Skateboards team will visit the UK in July for an evening session at Hemel Hempstead’s XC park on Thursday July 12th.
The date is set in stone and the rider list could possibly include David Gonzalez, Luan Oliveira, Arto Saari, Tom Penny, Lance Mountain, Louie Lopez, Curren Caples, Ben Nordberg, Greyson Fletcher, Geoff Rowley and Rune Glifberg.
This list of visiting pro’s will be confirmed nearer the time but get this date in your dairy and get your tickets sorted from the skate park. the session will start at 7pm.

Flip Skateboards welcome another new am to their team this morning as they look towards the future with new riders.
Alec Majerus will now roll alongside Mountain, Rowley and many more and comes from Rochester in the Midwest of the US. Majerus is one of two new ams that Flip have welcomed this Autumn with Matt Berger also joining in October. Watch Alex’ welcome edit plus a brand new demo featuring Flip team riders below.
Flip Skateboards are about to announce the arrival of a new am to their ranks today, one of two new ams we are understand will be joining the official team roster this month.
18 year old Canadian skater Matt Berger joins Rowley and co today and brings some firm street skills to the team. He is said to be the next Mark Appleyard by his countrymen. To celebrate 30 years of Thrasher Magazine (and ladies and gentleman, please raise a glass to that!) Thrasher decided to erect a ramp on a barge in the bay at San Francisco and invite some pro skateboard royalty for the session.

Geoff Rowley and Baron picked up awards for Best Skateboard Film and Best Soundtrack last night at the Skate Film Festival in Los Angeles for Flip’s Extremely Sorry movie.
Various films were shown at the The Downtown Independent Theater including a screening of Machotaildrop and 19 Years Young and winning entries included Skateistan which was awarded Best Documentary, Plank was the winner of Best International Film and Dango is Dead won Best Shop film.
