Design a Halloween Facebook Header and win stuff!

Want to takeover the Crossfire and Front Magazine facebook cover images on Halloween and win some tickets to the Massacre events a Kill City Skateboards deck signed by the full team in the process? (Scroll down the page to see your prize) If so, all you have to do is design your own personalised Facebook cover image in our ‘Off With You Header’ comp this week. Too easy!

To assist you, we have hosted some Crossfire and Front images in this folder for you to use if you need them. Download them. You can use whatever imagery you like though, inclusing photos of previous Halloween party stuff, gore, horror, anything! Get on it and submit your design by Friday!

Here’s the 7 DEADLY STEPS TO WIN:

1. ‘Like’ www.caughtinthecrossfire.com on Facebook.
2. ‘Like’ Front Mag on Facebook
3. Design a Halloween themed Facebook cover image (851 x by 315 pixels if you want perfection. Any size though will do. It could be a photo of you in fancy dress, gore, whatever. Your choice.
4. Submit your bloodthirsty work by uploading your image on Crossfire’s Facebook wall by Fri 26th October.
5. Random ticket winners will be drawn on Fri 26th Oct, 4pm
6. The best images will be put into a vote on Monday 29th October
7. The most ‘Liked’ design will take over the Front Mag and Crossfire Facebook headers on Halloween.

This 8″ deck will be signed by the Kill City team and sent to your house in the post if your design wins!

PE’s Flavor Flav arrested ahead of Freeze event

Public Enemy’s rapper Flavor Flav has been arrested yesterday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and battery after his fiance reported the pair had a fight. Arrested by Las Vegas Police, Flavour now faces up to 6 years in the slammer if found guilty and is currently on bail.

Knowing the band are headling the Freeze Festival next week, will Flavor be allowed to leave the US? We will soon find out but PE are set to still play.

New indoor skatepark in Nottingham incoming

Flo Skateparks have been busy carving wood ready for the opening of a brand new indoor park opposite Lady Bay Retail Park which is in Meadow Lane in Nottingham.

Flo have said this week: “We will be looking to open to the public during the week after Halloween, stay tuned for updates.”

‘Ordinary Madness‘ screening at Halloween Massacre!

Those who are heading down to the Halloween Massacre skate jam next Saturday will be stoked to know that a public screening of the brand new Death Skateboards DVD, ‘Ordinary Madness‘ has been arranged and will now be aired on the big screen during the event.

The film premiered last week in Harrow and since then, the team have been on tour across the UK skating and screening the movie in its entirety. The new film is sick, with sections from newcomer Matt Pennington, Richie Jackson, Patrick Melcher, Rob Smith, Dan Cates, Boots and many more. The new Baysixty6 skatepark has a new high lumen projector and white wall where ‘Ordinary Madness’ will be screened at 1.30pm. Invite friends from the Facebook event page here and start planning your outfits.

‘Pretty Sweet’ UK video premiere info and tickets

Form Distribution and Crossfire are proud to announce the much anticipated official London/UK premiere of ‘Pretty Sweet’, the new video by Girl and Chocolate Skateboards, scheduled to be screened in London on Monday November 19th.

Only 100 limited tickets for the 5.45pm public showing of Pretty Sweet at the Richmix Cinema, 35-47 Bethnal Green Rd, London, E1 6LA have been made available today for £6. Please note that these tickets are advance only and will go very quickly.
