Watch Louie Lopez’ killer new Volcom section

louie_lopez

He was once quoted saying that “I skate when I’m asleep.” There’s no denying it this morning as Louie Lopez smashes all expectations and rolls out one of the very best video edits of the year for Volcom as if he was asleep. The 5ft ripper ups the game today with a huge box of tricks topped with a seriously happy ending. If this doesn’t warrant a name on the bottom of a piece of Flip wood at the end of the year then ams of the world will be up in arms.

The youth is rising once again. Get the teas on and watch our nominated Skate Edit of the Week now.

Altamont Basic Zip Hood

I was looking for a new hood that would act as a jacket this summer and Altamont replied with the answer. If you are sick of taking a jacket with you to sessions and leaving it on a rail or on the floor because you over heat, this could be the answer.

The Basic Zip Hood is made of 65% cotton, 35% polyester, comes with a comfy hood, zipped front, has double pouch pockets and minimal branding. Seriously soft fabric jumped out of the packaging on first look and has not left me since. Definitely worth looking into if you are weighing up some options for new clothing this month.

Best t-shirt design ever? Skate or Diarrhea

Whilst in Greece holidaying last week I stumbled across this dude with possibly the best t-shirt design ever seen. The classic Skate or Diarrhea tee will be running tings in skate shops this year.

éS Pledge shirt review

es_pledge_shirt_blueThe Pledge shirt by éS should deal with a British summer on 2 levels. Over the last 3 weeks, the weather has blown, hot, cold, hot, cold and somehow this shirt has sat right in the middle of it all and saved my skin. Due to its 100% cotton lightweight design, this baby blue number has provided warmth when the sun has disappeared and has tackled the heat with the sleeves rolled up with ease.

It comes with a double lining so when you get it out of the wash it doesn’t fall apart and is easy on the iron. It also has minimal branding and a tasty front pocket if you need to stash smokes or cards.

éS have some great lines of clothing out right now and this shirt comes highly recommended this summer. Treat yourself this weekend, you only live once.
