The South London reprobates also known as the Blast Skateboards crew literally had a blast with Bl’ast before Bl’ast blasted through a set of raging hardcore at the Underworld last week.

Stockwell is one of the best skateparks in London, maybe even the world! If you’ve never been there then get off the computer, smash your piggy bank open and get on a train and get down there for a session. The Brixton Beach locals are friendly (both skateboarders and local passing by nutters), you’re guaranteed to have a laugh and there’s a shop round the corner that sells beer. Enough?

We all know that the early bird catches the worm and for us more mature skaters the lure of skating your local park alone without the barrage of kids on scooters is tempting. Right now you are more likely to witness a session at your local park as the sun rises more than ever before. The more people we speak to around the country, the more this comes up in conversation. I guess it’s just the done thing when you get older, whatever it takes for a peaceful line goes and if it means that the alarm clock becomes part of the session, then so be it.
