The brand new Blueprint Skateboards team has been announced today. Pro riders are Mike York, (we never saw that one coming) and Ignatio Morata and ams are Luke Hampton, Josh Love, Cameron Wetzler, Marcuss Carr. You can see their new deck range here.

For those of you out there who love a game of S.K.A.T.E and are partial to a mini ramp jam, Streetfest is back this May with both on offer courtesy of Dave Chesson who is organising the malarkey.
Get down to qualifiers for the game of S.K.A.T.E finals at Mile End Skatepark on 14th and 21st April. There will be 32 skaters playing each other for a place in the final 6 games for a share of the £1000 prize money. There are a few spaces left for sponsored skaters to enter so email Dave if you want in.
The Mini-Ramp Jam will be an invitational Sponsored-Pro comp of 20 skaters in a jam format, also on May 5th at StreetFest13 in Herne St, East London.
Mark Baines is running Camp WESC this Easter at Hull, East Yorkshire. The full week of skating with pro riders and learning tricks at the Subculture Indoor Skate Plaza, hanging out having a blast is back on for over 13’s. This year’s camp runs from April 1st-5th for £380, all inclusive that comes with a free deck shoes, hood, tee, headphones with loads more product to be won throughout the week.

Volcom Stone’s Hauling A$$ets jam at ISPO this week was a highlight of the trade show as usual. Those lazer-eyed cats that run Skate Mental have rolled out their Spring 2013 catalogue this weekend. Shane O’Neill, Dan Plunkett, John Motta, Brad Staba and Matt Beach all have new pro decks. A selection of one-off decks are also available alongside a new Evil Cat tee, tees featuring a Girl snogging a Dolphin, Wet T-shirts, stoned dinosaurs, Rainbow Uzi’s, beanies, caps, long socks, Fake Crap wax, Three in the Pink, One in the Stink Wheels and loads more.

Papa Roach frontman, Jacoby Shaddix, slipped up recently about the bands upcoming performance at Download Festival this June.
Festival organiser Andy Copping confirmed himself via Twitter afterwards to clear up any confusion, tweeting “OK @jacobyshaddix does it again! That man just cannot keep quiet! JACOBY!!! Papa Roach are playing #DL2013 on the main stage Friday.”
The Donington Park Festival also recently added 37 bands to the line-up, and released a teaser for the festival (below). Download Festival takes place June 14 – 16 2013 with headline acts Slipknot, Iron Maiden and Rammstein. Awesome, right?

Death Skateboards kick off 2013 in fine style following the release of their epic ‘Ordinary Madness‘ DVD a few weeks ago. The team welcome two new pro’s to their ranks today. Dean Palmer and Adam Moss, will now have their names on infamous Death wood after some serious dedication to the brand.
