Eminem signs Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse

Yelawolf has signed to Eminem’s Shady Records.

The Alabama rapper, championed on Crossfire since 2009 [commence trumpet blowing now], has inked the deal which will see him go through the Shady imprint whilst still carrying the Interscope and his own Ghet-O-Vision stamps.

Slaughterhouse, the supergroup containing Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Crooked I and Royce Da 5’9, were also signed by Eminem with Royce saying “It’s very exciting for me to reunite with Eminem years after our Bad Meets Evil project together. Slaughterhouse on Shady Records will be a force to reckon with.”

Glassjaw ready free EP

Glassjaw are planning to give away an EP in February.

The band are set to make their Coloring Book EP available to fans who see them on tour next month. To give fans a taster of what to expect, they have made the track Gold available on their site.

Coloring Book follows their Our Color Green collection, which was brought out earlier this year. The band are also working on their new album, which is slated for release sometime this year.

Taking Back Sunday have finished recording their new album.

The band, who returned to the line-up that made their debut album Tell All Your Friends, have been working with Eric Valentine on production duties. The album has no set release date, but is expected later this year and will be their first since 2009.

Lower Than Atlantis have released details of their second album, which will be called World Record.

The album will be released on April 4th with the single Beech Like The Tree out on February 14th on Wolf At Your Door Records. The tracklisting is below as well as the video for the single. Boom!

Watch: Wiz Khalifa G-Mix

Having tipped him for big things last year, Crossfire are happy to see Wiz dropping a video for the remix of his huge single Black And Yellow.

The G-Mix features Snoop, seemingly his new best friend as well as Juicy J and T-Pain. Yeah, we know T-Pain is awful, but look at that weird shit he has on his face throughout, it’s worth his verse just to get an eyeful of it. Anyway, Wiz kills is as per, so get the volume UP.

New Jersey rockers and recent Rise Records signing Man Overboard will be joining their fellow post-hardcore dirty jerseyians Senses Fail on a UK tour in February.

Having recently visited our shores in December, the band are just as stoked to be coming back to the UK as we are to have them here again.

Red Bull Bedroom Jam returns!

Entering its fifth year, the Red Bull Bedroom Jam returns in 2011 to provide the weekly webcast that helps young and unsigned bands launch themselves into the spotlight.

So long as one member of the band is under the age of 22 any band can enter for the chance of being included on the Bedroom Jam tour, a recording session in the Red Bull Studios and the chance to support an established band on a major UK tour. See below for instructions on how to get involved…

· From now on bands can upload their videos to the Red Bull Bedroom Jam site
· 15 bands will be chosen using the Buzz Radar system to play live shows live from their bedrooms every Monday at 5pm
· 8 bands will be chosen by this year’s judges: Andy Copping, Vice President of Live Nation, Beckie Sugden of The Agency Group and Aled Phillips of Kids In Glass Houses to continue to the Festival Stage
· At the end of the festival season 3 finalists will be chosen by the judges
· The final 3 will go head to head in a public vote to see who walks away as the Bedroom Jam Champion!
