Flip win best film at Skate Film Festival

Geoff Rowley and Baron picked up awards for Best Skateboard Film and Best Soundtrack last night at the Skate Film Festival in Los Angeles for Flip’s Extremely Sorry movie.

Various films were shown at the The Downtown Independent Theater including a screening of Machotaildrop and 19 Years Young and winning entries included Skateistan which was awarded Best Documentary, Plank was the winner of Best International Film and Dango is Dead won Best Shop film.

Habitat ‘Origin’ Hype…

Habitat’s ‘Origin’ was given a release date last month for October 18th. If you needed any further confirmation then check the image above that was posted on the Origin Tumblr this morning.

The video will indeed be getting an iTunes release if you are one of those ‘can’t go to the shop today but need to see it’ type.

New Aaron Kyro…

I’m sure many of you will remember that intense clip of proper manny mania awkwardly set to Clint Mansell’s Requiem For A Dream score. Well, the pivoting warlock in that clip, Aaron Kyro, is back with some fresh footage.

This may not appeal to all of your tastes out there, but you can’t deny that some of the stuff in here is pretty unthinkable. And yes, whoever edited the clip still suffers from a strange delusion of grandeur.
