The Skateboard Cafe have just announced that Korahn Gayle has joined their growing team. The Bristol based company launched their new range at Fifty Fifty skate shop last night with their new Ice Cream series that you can check out in this new clip.

Manchester locals are watching the concrete being laid and the granite ledges arrive this week on a long-awaited new extension to the Projekts Skatepark.
Freestyle Skateparks worked closely with the Projekts MCR team, (particularly John Haines and Vic) to design a quirky, but not awkward to use, skatepark design. This was the result of difficult existing site levels and other restrictions that got in their way throughout the process.
The new build is Plaza-esque with plenty of transitions that flow through the 820m2 space, including a long, grading mini from kerb height to a few feet high. Ledges, including granite ones are varied in shapes, lines and style. A new cabin and floodlighting are also being prepped so look forward to work completed and open to the public early 2013.
This is Steve Caballero‘s choice of rig, set up for this weekend’s Vans Warped vert session at Alexandra Palace. He celebrated his Birthday yesterday and will be waking up this morning in London ready to get down to Slam City Skates for a signing tonight at 6pm alongside Christian Hosoi. Details here:

A new short video featuring Skatopia’s Brewce Martin from the CIA (Citizens Instigating Anarchy) was posted overnight with details that the Skatopia Movie: “88 Acres Of Anarchy” will be hitting iTunes and Google Play this December.
We have no update on Brewce’s health following a serious injury back in the summer of 2009 from a tyre explosion but hope he is back on it and blasting concrete again.

Good to see that the creative work force at Maverick are back out there building parks. Their concept park that includes a skate-able boat at Sheringham Skatepark in Norfolk is finally being built this month. Check out the photos of The Strip. The video design may have changed since it’s original mock up two years back but you get the idea. It has taken a while but the Norfolk scene will have a park to skate this Xmas.

Lovenskate have issued a trailer today for their debut video that is scheduled to drop in December this year. Expect footage of Matt Ransom, Lucy Adams, Liam Sproat, Alex Barton, Ewen Bower and more with an in-depth insight into Parque La Carolina skate scene in Ecuador.
Stu told us this morning that: “After much deliberating it’s going to be called ‘The Lovenskate Video‘ and it will be done and ready to show by early December. It’s gonna have a hefty friends section with a sprinkling of Euros, Team sections and lots more. It’s gonna come in a nice printed package with a zine and stickers and there will be a premiere in London as soon as it’s ready to go.” Get in.
