Days Like These video premiere at House of Vans

days_like_these_skate_premiere_jenna_selbyThe House of Vans in Waterloo, London will host the new Jenna Selby skate movie Days Like These for Rogue Skateboards.

Jenna’s previous flick, As If And What? released back in 2009 featured all the upcoming female skateboarders on Jenna’s radar, knowing that the level of talent has risen tenfold since then in male and female skateboarding, this should be ace.

Footage of Lucy Adams, Julia Brueckler, Camilla Mullins, Josie Millard and Dora Horvath will be included, scheduled to premiere on 5th December in two showings at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Expect a photo exhibition, skate jam, DJs and drinks. Get yourself on the list.

Pixels does the Gran Canaria

Watch the new Lovenskate video trailer

Lovenskate have issued a trailer today for their debut video that is scheduled to drop in December this year. Expect footage of Matt Ransom, Lucy Adams, Liam Sproat, Alex Barton, Ewen Bower and more with an in-depth insight into Parque La Carolina skate scene in Ecuador.

Stu told us this morning that: “After much deliberating it’s going to be called ‘The Lovenskate Video‘ and it will be done and ready to show by early December. It’s gonna have a hefty friends section with a sprinkling of Euros, Team sections and lots more. It’s gonna come in a nice printed package with a zine and stickers and there will be a premiere in London as soon as it’s ready to go.” Get in.

Girl Skate Jam at St Albans 30th June

This year’s Girl Skate Jam UK will be held on Saturday 30th June, between 1-6pm, at Pioneer Skate Park in St Albans.

The day will kick off with a 2 hour jam for all, followed by Under and Over 18’s street comps. The miniramp jam will follow with the day being rounded off with the Sponsored competition. Nikita will again be hosting a riders BBQ. Sponsors include Cooler Magazine, Rogue Skateboards, Vans, Rockstar Bearings, Death, DC, Lakai and Rubicon Skate Camp who are putting up £200 prize money for the sponsored comp.

Rubicon Skate Camp is also offering £30 off the price of their Girl Skate Camps – this applies to anyone who enters or comes along to support the other riders. the amount will be increased to £90 off to any of the riders who finish on the podium in any of the categories.
