Not literally obviously, but Grant Taylor is definitely set proverbially ablaze as he shreds this pool for Spitfire.
Imagine if this was in your back garden. Watch him below and remind yourself how he could easily have been skater of the year too.
An accidental double booking meant that the Superdead team couldn’t rip the Xmas Jam this year, instead the team took it to Blackpool’s Rampcity and Castleford’s Subvert skatepark and came back with plenty of rad shralpage caught on camera.
Watch below for the footage from the first weekend of demos, including skating from Andy Scott, Eddie Belvedere, Harry Lintell, Chris Barrett, Josh Parr, Awadh Mohammed, Nick Remon, Ben Rowles and Denis Lynn.
If Quartersnacks isn’t one of your favourite websites on the internet then I’m not sure what’s wrong with you but you should probably sort it out. For those of you unlucky enough to be living underneath a rock, Quartersnacks is like a friendly local New York cornershop where skaters drink purple drink, muse about skate culture and swap bootlegs but in blog form. They’ve just put out a video compiling some of their favourite concrete ripping moments from New York City in 2010.
As always, it’s full of ill-lit shralping and sketchy landings and definitely worth your time, so go and watch it below and be sure to keep up to date with the Quartersnacks fam. We love ’em.

Last Christmas The Berrics celebrated and Blueprint cemented their comeback into the skateboarding limelight with a United Nations I’m sure even the younger amongst you reading haven’t forgotten yet.
This year’s highlighted company need no re-introduction after the fantastic ‘Give Me My Money Chico‘ that dropped earlier this year; for those of you who haven’t heard, LRG’s United Nations is on Friday (Christmas Eve). Watch their trailer below and get hyped for an early Christmas Cracker.

What a year for Mr. Boots Hopkins! Not many people can say that they’ve been married, had the cover of Sidewalk and had a pro board out for one of the UK’s best companies in their entire lifetime, let alone in just one year. Yet all this was achieved this year by a man who chooses to go by the name of a high street pharmacy chain (or the footwear choice of a certain Puss) while frequently destroying street spots across the UK on the regs.
We found Boots to be a perfect candidate for another set of Reflections, so enjoy his favourite moments and video edits from 2010 right here.
Best personal moment of 2010?
My wedding day, getting the cover of Sidewalk and getting a pro board were the best moments of the year for me, stoked on them all.
Favourite skate trip?
The Summer Death Skateboards tour was really fun, good times with the fuck ups camping and filming at some sick spots, same time next year!
Song/album?
Metallica’s Ride The Lightening
Most satisfying trick filmed?
In the middle of filming for the next Death video ‘Ordinary Madness‘, so I have been filming as much as I can. I dunno if satisfying is the right word, maybe relieved is; whenever I make the trick, I’m so glad its over, especially if it’s taken a couple of hours. I’ll be satisfied when the deadline comes hopefully.
Newest trick learnt?
No comply
Best trick or line you witnessed?
Anything Josh Cox ever does is my favourite. The guy knows his way around a skateboard, just watch his warm up line at Mile End. Piss take.
Skate DVD you watched the most?
Stay Gold and Origin, but Heath Kirchart’s part in Stay Gold is the best.
Fresh Blood tip for 2011?
Josh Cox. Rory Milanes. Karim Bakthoui, just wait for the Slam video!
What are you looking forward to most in 2011?
Same again… travelling, skating new places, moving to cardiff, spending time with the wife, not working too much. Keeping it real.

John Demar – Be Here Now
Stumbled across this the other day, good style, lipslides through water, good tune. This part is sick and I look forward to seeing more from this guy.
Nick Jensen X Hold Tight Henry – Lakai Ad
Nick Jensen’s Lakai commercial. I don’t need to say why this is amazing, watch it and you’ll know.
Randy Ploesser – High 5
Randy Ploesser High 5. The dude kickflips onto a polejam and other interesting and sick stuff in this clip.
Dylan Reider – Gravis Part
Dylan Rieder’s Gravis part. Definitely the best thing I have seen in 2010, 5 minutes of straight bangers and does the best front tail flip out you will probably ever see.

T-Mo and Friends
T-Mo and his buddies. I love this clip, especially the coffin grind over the rainbow rail, unbelievable. I’m just jealous I can’t skate there…
Following on from his banging Nicky Howells edit, Bristol based filmer James Harris has compiled a selection of gems from the UK Ramp Hire Warehouse. It’s not too surprising how much he’s racked up given the weather that favours only the snowman, but we’re stoked on all of it.
Watch below for sheltered corkers from some of Bristol’s Finest Josh Arnott, Dan Lacey, Tom Gibbs, Sam Austin, Andy Coleman and Taylor Oakley.
In the latest episode of rad to come from the wonderfully restless Antiz camp, we see our European buddies (plus international Hobo extraordinaire Dallas Rockvam) recall everyone’s favourite task from THPS2 and ollie over the homeless.
See below for the guaranteed goodness that always comes with an Antiz edit with this latest Hobo Erectus clip. For an interview we did with the crew when they were busy being the homeless then click here.
Watch below for a glance into the future of Rasa Libre’s ‘Winter Solstice‘, a visual celebration of the days becoming lighter again.
In just forty seconds this little ‘Holiday Blend‘ blip is packed with enough sunshine-drenched goodness to get you scribbling out your entire Christmas wishlist and replacing it with the word ‘summer’.
New Kenny Reed footage means that we are all on Santa’s good list! Hooray!
Kansas based skateshop-chain Escapist have broken two things we previously thought were impossible. Firstly, we were able to witness Sean Malto hold it down for his hometown in a big way one more time before the year was out (not that we’re complaining) and secondly, we somehow witnessed Wiz Khalifa’s ‘Black and Yellow’ become even more awesome in this new context.
The trailer for the forthcoming full length video from the shop totally smashes it. The last two tricks will have you skipping back and the ‘red and yellow’ hook will have you up all night like some ketchup and mustard related nightmare. We can’t wait for this.
