This four CD set collects the best singles from this period that somehow slipped under the mainstream radar, or were just too damn weird. This music was a huge influence on the first wave of punk and shares many similarities, capturing the same reckless energy and drug-crazed rebellion as The Damned, Sex Pistols etc. Fuck the history lesson though, this is just great music, the when’s and where’s don’t really matter, just turn it up and drop yourself a cheeky half.
