It’s been the year for all sorts of new tricks being done but here’s another one for your extreme sports collection. I still personally prefer a backside smith any day of the week but after 108 tries (only a knob would count) Trevor Jacob has landed what’s known to be the first ever double backflip on a skateboard.
Palace rider Lucien Clarke has officially been announced as joining the Supra Footwear pro team today. The 24 year old Londoner says: “I’m thrilled about SUPRA. The shoes are amazing to skate, and most of the riders I watched for years growing up ‘pon de skateboard. So it’s a banging feeling being on the same team.”
“Jamaica to New York to London was the route to becoming the bad man that is Lucien ‘Brother Darkness’ Clarke,” said friend Chewy Cannon who just joined the KR3W team today. “If you don’t know now, you will realize after.”

Great Yarmouth’s Chewy Cannon has joined the KR3W team officially. Here’s 4 things you may not know about him:
1. The landlord for the London house that he lives in with his girlfriend was a woman, but is now a geezer. Chewy has described the landlord transformation from her to him as “kinda crazy.”
2. He loves playing darts and saying, “180!” (presumably in that Lemmy/Motorhead voice that one dart announcer has). “Got a dart board a li’l while back,” Chewy said, “and I’ve been on a mission on the rainy days to try and become the next big thing.” His girlfriend is still better than he is, however.
3. Three is a secret.
4. Chewy has a difficult relationship with bananas. They’ve been known to make him violent. But he had little to say about them when KR3W asked about his problems with the fruit. “I love bananas,” he said. “They smell like the Devil’s nut sack.”

The Kennington Bowl was rinsed this weekend in South London with what looks to be a stirling job completed in record time by One and Californian skateparks. The sunshine held all day for Converse Skateboarding’s launch party and after a shop comp, Rollersnakes took the first place with Harry Lintell cleaning up on the new concrete.
Unfortunately due to a house move I could not be there document the day but by all accounts it went off. Footage will surface from HTH soon enough and coverage in SW and Grey will surely be on its way but for now, enjoy Marc Churchill getting busy on one of the new creations courtesy of the Witchcraft FB.
Kevin Charles at Vans posted a new photo online from the concrete that is setting from the new build at Northampton. Get ready for what looks to be another great park about to be ready this summer.
The Captain had a bunch of footage sat on his hard drive collecting pixel dust until it was unleashed this weekend as a three minute edit. Watch Mark Munson destroying concrete in India, London, Oregon, Holland and so many more countries it’s a joke. What a way to start the week.
