With all the talk of the new Vans video now over and done with, it’s time for it to be unleashed to the public. So here’s the first official teaser and unveiling of it’s name: PROPELLER. Yep, you heard it here first.
Greg Hunt is behind the making of it that will have full parts from Rowley, Crockett, Dollin and so many more. Look out for the full film this May that you will be able to download or pick up in stores.
Odd Future are back with another colourful drop of Vans shoes from their Syndicate range this week. These summer Old Skool “S” sneakers have custom Golf Wang artwork on the tongue on a pink sole, Ultracush impact sockliners and Duracap reinforced uppers.
These are not available in all skate shops so check who is local to you that carry the Syndicate’s before skating down to your local.

Vans have unleashed a new Derelict Places edit this morning filmed inside the unused Expo 2000 building in Hannover, Germany. Watch Danny Wainwright, Kris Vile, Joshua Young, Sam Partiax and Flo Marfaing get a session on before the fuzz turn up.

UK ripper Sam Beckett came 5th in the annual Vans Bondi Bowl-A-Rama comp. Pedro Barros took the honours over the weekend with his ridiculous skills. Watch the footage of the finals here in full and highlights from this incredible comp.

Vans have chosen the legendary John Cardiel for their rider week series this week so head over to their website to browse a collection of interviews, photos and more on the great man.
Skateboards and metal are certainly the flavour of the 80’s but the fad still rolls and the classics still appeal to many. This week Metallica’s members have all designed and released a collab shoe on Vans following their classic ‘Kill ‘Em All’ half cab last year, again in celebration of their milestone sussecc of their epic debut album.
Bass player Robert Trujillo chose to add his own take on the Escuela shoe with an Aztec design, James Hetfield picked a Sk8-Hi and added his own skull and crossbones, drummer Lars Ulrich has an Era Laceless with added twill/diamond pattern from his snare drum, and guitarist Kirk Hammett has rolled out a hemp based Slip-On that features a Ouija guitar pick in the heel.
These should be available this month.
