The Sword Release Album via Napalm Records


Having sold more than 200,000 units in the U.S. alone, The Sword are major contenders in the current heavy music market. The band have announced they will release their 4th LP on November 5, 2012 which will feature cover art by legendary comic book artists J.H. Williams III (Batwoman, Promethea).

The album entitled ‘Apocryphon’ – which was produced and mixed by J. Robbins (Clutch, Jawbox)- will be released in Europe via renowned metal label Napalm Records.

The Sword are back in the UK on tour in May and have dropped the banger that is their new video.

Night City is the third and final installment of the Warp Riders Trilogy and was directed by Artificial Army, featuring Esteban Powell, best known for his role as Carl in the classic Dazed and Confused film. The dates are below, so make sure you go!

The Sword announce UK tour for May

theswordStoner rock legends The Sword have announced UK tour dates for May this morning.

The 4 piece who were derailed somewhat last year when long time drummer Trivett Wingo left the band due to his problems with flying and traveling and has now been replaced by Kevin Fender who previously batted the drums for Texas hardcore legends EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE.
