The Guildford skate scene used to have an amazing little indoor warehouse open back in the early 90’s and also hosted a small outdoor park just nearby the Lido in Stoke Park. Due to wear and tear, this park is about to be replaced and this week, skateboarders of Surrey have unleashed the proposed new design from Wheelscape for you to have a look at here.

Dorchester’s concrete will have it’s annual roasting from locals this year on Saturday April 28th with cash money prizes for best tricks and free stuff from various sponsors. Get down to one of Maverick Skatepark’s best builds for a full day of it between 11 – 6pm. The park can be found at Weymouth Avenue, DT1 1QZ and the Facebook event page to join is here.
The local skate scene of Croydon are welcoming a new skate park build thanks to the recent hard graft from Freestyle Skateparks. The park that is based just off the Purley Way in Wandle Park has approx’ 550m2 of concrete to skate and looks like it could flow well from these photos that were taken on site yesterday by the team.
The skatepark was designed with the local skaters and BMXers of Croydon as part of a redevelopment of Wandle Park that is scheduled to open to the public by the Mayor of London sometime in April. Watch this space and get hyped on the fact that the Croydon scene has some new ‘crete this Spring.
