Flip’s legendary ‘Sorry’ full length video was released in 2003 and went down in skateboarding history as one of the very best ever made. Girl Skateboards have a brand new deck series about to hit your local skater owned shop this Autumn. The Real Big series has decks from their full pro team ahead of the ‘Pretty Sweet‘ video that will drop on November 16th.
If you ride wide then Brian Anderson has the 8.25 and if you you blaze like Biebel then his 7.875 should do the trick. Look out for them.
French has a limited run of decks printed for his upcoming Scion Installation in Los Angeles on the 29th September. The exhibition will showcase not just drawings, but also a number of super limited edition products French has designed and illustrated over the years.
Lovenskate printed a very limited run of 25 Pool Shaped boards this week for the show that are all numbered and awaiting your order.
The Essex skate scene spent a full weekend from the 24th-26th August skating all over their county to tick the boxes of many tasks set for this year’s skate video comp that is the one and only Lords of the Swords. Over 20 teams hit the road this year proving just how popular this comp has become.
These videos you see here are the nominated teams that are into the grande finale. To make it clear, 10 teams are in the main comp and 3 teams are in the Pro Comp. Yes, there will be two winners from this week’s chaos. Don’t forget to vote for both comps.

Henry Edwards-Wood has rolled out a new blog this morning titled Spacial Dependents highlighting the wonderfully bizarre situations he finds himself in to film specific tricks at various spots. His first entry delves into the High Holborn piss spot gap depicting the mission of Steph Morgan.
In his own words:
“Filming skating is a funny old game, in a way you feel like your trying the trick yourself, willing your subject to succeed whilst perfecting the choreography of your own slightly altered path. The rewards are a few seconds of raw kinnetic connectivity between man, wood and his surroundings, immortalised in twenty five frames per second. It always seems so simple when you watch the make, but it is the process that feeds the elation.”
