Dinosaur Pile Up are back with a single and have a brand new video for the track.

My Rock N Roll is one of the first songs frontman Matt Bigland wrote for DPU and will be released on March 14th. The band are also hitting the road with The Xcerts and Japanese Voyeurs as part of the Rock Sound tour, the dates for which are:

Last Supper show for CRASS – tickets on sale today

Tickets for the very last CRASS show scheduled for November 19th 2011 go on sale today for their Last Supper show at the Shepherds Bush Academy in London.

Steve Ignorant from the band said today on his blog: I know that every gig I do is special and that me and the band put 1000% into every performance, but I have to admit to you all, this one will be special. If you’re thinking of coming, bring some tissues – it’s gonna be emotional.

Tickets £20, on sale 17th February from Ticketweb or the Southern web shop.

Watch: Waka Flocka Flame’s ‘No Hands’

The man with the most memorable name in rap, Waka Flocka Flame, has a new single coming out in the UK.

No Hands, which features guest spots from Roscoe Dash and Wale, has already proved a huge hit in the States, selling over a million copies and will be released in the UK on April 18th. With an army of fans thanks to his Lex Luger produced anthem Hard In Da Paint, it’s only a matter of time before Waka is massive over here too.

DMC announce Online DJ Championship

DMC, who are known the world over as the legendary DJ Champs have opened a competition to any DJ across the world in their Online DJ Competition. The competition will get filmed footage online and the winner of the global vote will compete against the heavyweights in the World DJ Champs later this year.

The voting will begin on March 3rd and will see a vote every two weeks with the top 10 being decided who will in turn by judged by Champion DJs. Each winning DJ and the runner-up go through to the August final where all DJs will be required to upload their six minute filmed performance.

Once again the public will vote for their favourites, and the top 10 will then be judged by DMC World DJ Champions. On September 5th one DJ will be crowned the world’s first DMC Online DJ Champion.

Mogwai album out today with Mexican Grand Prix video

mogwai_hardcorewillneverdiebutyouwillMogwai released their new album today titled Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will on their own label Rock Action Records.

The band’s seventh album was recorded over the summer at Chem 19 Studios, in Hamilton and mixed at The Castle Of Doom. ‘Hardcore’ is produced by Mogwai confidante Paul Savage (the man behind Mogwai’s exceptional 1997 ‘Mogwai Young Team’ album) and is the follow up to 2008’s magnum opus ‘The Hawk Is Howling’.

New Radiohead album ‘The King Of Limbs’ out this week

Their new album ‘The King Of Limbs‘ will not get the same treatment as In Rainbows as a ‘pay what you want’ album but you will be able to buy the first ever ‘Newspaper album’ on May 9th at £30 / £33.

This package will contain ‘The King Of Limbs’ on CD, two 10-inch vinyl records and artwork sheets. Those who buy the set via pre-order online will also receive the album as a download on Saturday. If you just want to download the album this Saturday you have a choice of dishing out £6 (for MP3) or £9 (for WAV’s).
