Spacey synth rockers Klaxons have posted the video for ‘Echoes‘ the opening track on their upcoming album ‘Surfing The Void‘.
The video features the band playing a dizzying jam, filling the vaccuous desert landscape with their unmistakable sound. You can see it all below.
Debut single ‘Echoes‘ will be released on August 16th. ‘Surfing The Void‘ is due on August 23rd.
California’s Avenged Sevenfold have announced that they will be embarking on a co-headline tour of the UK with Stone Sour in October and November.
The band who were recently voted 2nd best band in the world by Ultimate Guitar Magazine are very excited to return to the UK. Gutiarist Zacky Vengence commented ‘you have been warned’.
Their fifth studio album, ‘Nightmare‘, will be released on July 26th.

Brisbane four-piece Violent Soho have posted footage of what the happenings are during the making of their new self-titled album.
The album is out on August 2nd, and you can have a look at the studio video diaries just down there on this very page. There’s three of them and each one is packed with everything you could imagine would happen when the cameras are turned on an Australian band in Wales. Not too sure what that this exactly but rest-assured these videos are full of it.

Every Time I Die have announced the release of a weekly web series entitled ‘Shit Happens: The Series?‘. The series will follow Buffalo’s most notorious hardcore party fiends as they encounter stupid and awesome crap that only Keith Buckley and his troupe could encounter.
Bassist Josh Newton insists that this isn’t a serious documentary or an attempt to be funny and to distract from touring, “It’s us being idiots” he says.
The first full episode will air on July 28th and you can stream the series’ theme song here.
In addition this, the band have announced a tour of Europe, which includes UK dates. These are a bloody exciting band to see live so don’t hesitate to pick up tickets.

Minneapolis rapper Brother Ali has suffered an unfortunate family tragedy and as a result will not be able to perform at all of his scheduled UK dates this week.
No plans for a re-scheduled tour have been announced, but fans should keep a look out for news soon.

Robert Pollard has confirmed that the lo-fi American indie band whose line-up was in perpetual flux until they disbanded in 2004, Guided By Voices will re-form under the following line-up: Pollard himself, Tobin Sprout and Mitch Mitchell on guitars, Greg Demos on bass and Kevin Fennell on drums.
The band are to play a set of songs at Matador Records 21st Anniversary show in Las Vegas from their most revered era, the early-mid 90s, featuring tracks from the albums Propeller, Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes and Under The Bushes Under The Stars.
They will be playing alongside a line-up that features Sonic Youth, Pavement, Belle and Sebastian, Spoon, Cat Power and more…
