Robert Pollard has confirmed that the lo-fi American indie band whose line-up was in perpetual flux until they disbanded in 2004, Guided By Voices will re-form under the following line-up: Pollard himself, Tobin Sprout and Mitch Mitchell on guitars, Greg Demos on bass and Kevin Fennell on drums.
The band are to play a set of songs at Matador Records 21st Anniversary show in Las Vegas from their most revered era, the early-mid 90s, featuring tracks from the albums Propeller, Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes and Under The Bushes Under The Stars.
They will be playing alongside a line-up that features Sonic Youth, Pavement, Belle and Sebastian, Spoon, Cat Power and more…
