Sex Hands Daily Life Split 7″

Icecapades

sexhands_dailylifeManchester’s indie scene is buzzing this year with underground acts that should be in your ears so sit back and be introduced to two of the latest who have captured our hearts here at Crossfire who will be releasing a split this month via Icecapades.

The A-side welcomes 2 tracks from Sex Hands made up of three buddies from North Wales, and another who is residing in Manchester. Those who love to feast on the laid back garage psych of Ganglians will be happy to take in the fumes from this smoking 4 piece. Their track ‘Ichiban’ is a noisy stompfest that screams Black Lips and Butthole Surfers steez but jammed in their own unique lo fi way.

Daily Life take the b-side to this limited gem which eminates melancholic joy with a slab of post punk suitable to bring some much needed sunshine especially on a rainy day like today. More lo fi aural pleasure from a band whose short journey ended with their singer moving to New Zealand. For lovers of Pavement and Wavves.

There are 4 tracks on this 7″, two from each band and it’s limited to just 250 copies with artwork from Manchester artists, Alex Humphries and Lucy Jones. Listen here and then buy one for £4:
