Skate Edit of the Week comes via one of the many BBQ and Beer sessions at the Redkite mini ramp tucked away amongst fields just outside of London. Blackscore clothing bring the slo mo goodness with skating from Redkite cheese Fraser Campbell, tech wizard and Koston double – Mark Brewster, ‘The Housewife’s Favourite’ – Neil Kirby and the recently Dutched, Alex Weller.
This is what skateboarding is all about (when you have done it for 25 years). Get a ramp in your garden today.
Ex-Death pro Lee Blackwell came down for a session at the Bay yesterday and popped into our office for a quick video interview.
Lee’s answers will come very soon once the edit unfolds, but tales of serious injury, Death Skateboards, plus a new pro deck in the works will be discussed.

Manchester is a power house for scene videos so there’s no surprise to see today that Mark Kendrick is about to release his tale of what goes down locally and further afield. Shads is his full length scene video filmed across the UK and Europe, scheduled for release in 2013- and by the looks of this new promo, it should be a banger.
Watch this trailer that hit the web overnight featuring Tony Da Silva, Joe Gavin, Dom Henry, Louie Brownlie, Paul Hill, Eddie Belvedere, Fergie Anderson, Jiří Bulín, Frank Stephens who will all have sections and many more.

Back in July this year, Kingpin Magazine interviewed Palace rider Lucien Clarke and today it’s online in full for you to read. Click here for the feature covering what makes him one of the friendliest and very best skateboarders in London town.
You know how hard it hurts when you are rolling the streets and hit a small stone unexpectedly? Well imagine you are hurtling downhill at 45mph and a deer comes out of the bushes and hits you like a train?!
This happened to Ryan Vitale who was taking part in the Buffalo Bill Downhill Blood Spill racing comp in Golden, Colorado. Without him even knowing, taken out completely.
Thankfully neither Ryan or the deer were injured but watch this footage.

A pair of these arrived on my desk last week and just opening the box gave me a satisfied smile that one can only recieve when appreciating shoes that are designed and run solely by skateboarders. The relationship between Emerica and Andrew Reynolds is one that should be recognised and saluted. Throw in Altamont and you know that these are going to be a strong purchase and that’s exactly what your feet feel like once slipped into these puppies. They are pure quality.
Andrew Reynolds wanted some ultra-slim, low profile boat shoes to skate and chill in, and the Reynolds Cruisers are the result. The mix of suede and denim work extremely well and should last way longer than your average thin suede-only skate shoe, especially if you are partial to blasting holes through the sides of yours due to ollie abuse, which should never be a problem.
The tongue gives extra support and the gum sole sticks to griptape like nothing else. In fact, after a few skates in these, moving around became easier ending in perfect grip. Overall, once worn in these work a treat. Try some for yourself this Autumn.
Two weeks back, Luan Oliveira was welcomed to the Nike team and promtly invited Paul Rodriguez to visit Brazil for a session. That session was filmed and here it is with mostly demo and some street footage.
