Equinox – Winter Nights and Jazz

If you think we have had it bad with snow, ice and freezing cold weather this winter, we are not alone. Equinox brings you 15 minutes of skating from Benjamin Deberdt’s Live Skateboard Media and celebrates the first day of Spring with various skaters that include Dom Henry, Pat O’Rourke, Rob Mentov, Lee Yankou, Scott Varney and many more filmed in Toronto, Canada, Detroit and of course, the epicentre of world skateboarding right now, Reading.

Press play for cold street footage with a dose of jazz, rap, Charles Bukowski and much more.

Snow session with Geoff Rowley and Jimmy Boyes

The winter video edit comp deadline is approaching in 2 weeks time. Have you started editing your footage yet?

French Fred has released some old footage of Geoff Rowley, Jimmy Boyes and Gabriel Friedman skating an icy mini ramp in Arizona overnight, so get hyped on the fact that others out there are tackling the elements head on.

Send snow photos and videos and win Plan B hoody

Skateboarding will obviously be affected this week due to the snow that is falling out there right now across the country. Some of you, no doubt, will take the initiative to film or take pics out there having a laugh in the white stuff, so please host your pics and footage send them in and we will share the best ones. Our favourite entry will receive a nice warm Plan B hoodie in the post to combat the cold too.

Don’t forget that we are also running our annual winter skateboard edit comp right now, so it’s a good time to get footage together. Details about deadlines and entry can be found here.
