Every scene has a lifer, a legend, a skateboarder who has inspired the rest of the scene for years and pulled everyone up when they go down. This week, Crayon Skateboards have honoured one Canvey Island’s finest with a Bro Model. Check out the surprise presentation when they delivered the news to Rob Parsonson with a session from Andy ‘Ev’s Evans and the lost Art Crew.
News just in from Korahn, but who will he be riding for next?
“As of today I will no longer be riding for Crayon Skateboards. I would like to say a big thank you to Dykie and Crayon Skateboards for hooking me up over the last couple of years and for giving me a Pro board.
I have really enjoyed working with Dykie and the rest of the team and wish them all the best of luck in the future! I would also like to thank Nick Richards for all of his input over the years
Here is the Crayon Ad we recently put out, filmed and edited by Nick and Dykie. Cheers Guys.”
This is the bloke that runs Crayon Skateboards, sat on a bench in a right pickle. He’s a lovely fella. He works his socks off to bring the team what they need and is as dedicated to skateboarding as they come.
Press play for one of the funniest skate promo’s you will see this year and pick up a ‘Pickle Porter‘ with graphic illustration by Philip Morgan this month at your local skateshop. Guaranteed smiles for miles!
Mike pearson and Dykie have unleashed footage from their recent jaunt to North Wales with members of the Crayon and Lost Art teams. This three day trip in September brought some good times as you will see from this edit here. Music comes from the wonderful Tame Impala btw.
Massive Happy Birthday to one of the UK’s most consistent rippers. Yep, we are talking about Crayon pro Dan Wileman who has been at pretty much every Crossfire event we have hosted and swapped Bristol’s streets to skate the sunswept ledges of Barcelona thesedays.
The good folk at Crayon Skateboards have announced the welcome of Liverpool’s Andy ‘Evs’ Evans to their full team today (not to be confused with Brighton skate flick maker of the same name). Expect a welcome edit next month when this all ‘calm’s down’.
Crayon Skateboards have unleashed a new batch of decks this morning. Chris Jones’ new deck features graphics form the Highbrow company (Mike O’Shea) and comes in available in 8 and 8.25″ models, Korahn Gayle Korahn has art by Jon Horner available in 8.125″ and their new logo deck comes in 8 and 7.75″.
Look out for these in your local skater owned shop this month.
Crayon Skateboards have released the second retrospective pro edit today as promised so sit back and get ready for some good times from Bristol’s Dan Wileman.
We will never be able to thank him enough for repping at Crossfire events over the last 10 years as he has attended pretty much all of them. He has given everything to skateboarding and is one of the hardest working skaters out there, suppport Dan by buying his new pro model on Crayon.
