Gil Scott-Heron set for UK dates

Political poet and singer Gil Scott-Heron will play a string of UK dates this April, following the release of his brand new studio album I’m New Here.

The record is Scott-Heron’s first studio release since 1994, recorded in New York after spending several stints in prison on drugs related charges.

April

20th – London Royal Festival Hall
21st – Edinburgh HMV Picture House
22nd – Aberdeen The Warehouse
24th – London Royal Festival Hall
25th – Manchester Opera House
