In 2007 Lovenskate went to Boliva and made a documentary called Super Jumbo. Now, as an early treat for 2011 you can watch the whole thing in full via Babelgum.
The video covers Lovenskate’s journey into the Bolivian skate scene as they traverse the mountains of La Paz and the jungles of Santa Cruz . It’s half an hour (advance warning to you multi-tab Firefox generation users out there) but absolutely worth a watch for anyone wanting a little insight into the kind of skate scene hitherto undocumented by western eyes. Complete with interviews and footage from countless locals this is proper top notch stuff. Nice one Stu!

For 2011, Thrasher have made the bold decision to embrace the digital overlord’s rule and release 2010’s King Of The Road in a series of online webisodes, each one guaranteed to be filled with unadulterated plank-loving debauchary.
The first edit to drop from La Capsule Magenta in 2011 is a collection of clips filmed in the deliciously skateable city of wine, Bordeaux.
Two of the hardest working skaters in the UK, Henry Edwards-Wood and John Tanner, have spent a big chunk of the latter half of 2010 filming for this edit set in grand ol’ London Town.
Nothing like some big skate news to start the New Year but
Henry Edwards-Wood, one of the busiest filmers out there this year has released an HD Retrospective on 2 years of graft documenting the lives of some of our best UK skateboarders and many more who have visited these shores.
I was waiting for a Christmas edit from either the NPNG crew or the Get Lesta crew and it seems as though NPNG are quicker out of the blocks this year.
