Bay Sixty 6 Skatepark’s transformation has started this week after a few days last week of intense demolition. Now that the pain of seeing it being chopped up has totally gone, we will now bring you photo and video updates from the rebuild that can be found in our constantly updated feature.
Today saw the first wooden structures arrive at the park with what looks to be large transitions that would usually be associated with a bowled corner. These have apparently been made in Amsterdam and shipped here to be bolted together as the park takes its new shape.

If there’s one skate team from down under that we always keep an eye on it’s HOON. Famous for their Hoon Runs across Australia, the team have released a new video edit stuffed with some killer footage for you to feast on this week that is a must see. 
This week’s funny skateboard gadget is the Stair Rover. Now get ready for this one as it’s definitely one of the funniest we have seen to date. It has 8 wheels, it’s made from aluminium and bamboo and it can apparently go down stairs. 
Massive Happy Birthday to one of the UK’s most consistent rippers. Yep, we are talking about Crayon pro Dan Wileman who has been at pretty much every Crossfire event we have hosted and swapped Bristol’s streets to skate the sunswept ledges of Barcelona thesedays. 
Ever had speed wobbles? Canadian Mischo Erban has probably had the lot, especially when clocking an incredible 80.74 mph on a public road. This feat that broke the world record by just over 10mph was accomplished on a downhill road called Les Eboulements in Quebec.
