Clay SFTW 2015 – Finer Side
Clay Skate store have rolled out a SFTW edit to mark the start of their annual voting malarkey. This year there are 6 edits made from local crews, you have to pick a winner.

Anyone remember when the Beastie Boys played a secret show in the basement of Slam City Skates in London? It was the Sunday afternoon of the 12th June when this hot, sweaty show took place in the basement of Neil’s Yard, but they managed to jam out a bunch of classics as you can see below in this newly posted footage of the entire show.
The Beasties were in the UK to do some promo on Ill Communication, also doing some TV stuff on MTV Most Wanted and a performance in Ireland on the same trip.
I managed to get on the stairs for this only but you may spot a few familiar faces from the skate scene from that era lurking in the basement. Knowing that Slam City has moved now, this little piece of gold will remain one of those special moments in musical history, in a shop that was famous for serving up prime cuts, upstairs and down.

Get down to Dalston on Sunday as a fundraiser is taking place for SkatePal, raising awareness and monies for an upcoming skatepark building project in Palestine in association with Toms Skate Shop.
Expect a game of S.K.A.T.E, a raffle, skate lessons and a hog roast with Wizard Sleeve DJs serving up a summer soundtrack of reggae, funk, soul & hip hop.
Jon Horner will even be selling this poster (below) on the day below. If you are in London, get down there for a day of fun.

Campus Pool edit
So here it is, the first edit from the new Campus Pool down in Bristol with footage of Jess Young, Andy Coleman, and many more getting stuck into the fresh ‘crete laid and designed by the wizards at Canvas Spaces.
The park opens next Sunday 26th July so get down there, eat free BBQ food and celebrate a phenomenal feat that is now Bristol’s only indoor, concrete park.
