Daewon Song 20th anniversary DVS shoes

daewon_song_20_year_dvs_shoes_skate

Celebrate an incredible 20 years of DVS with Daewon Song this month by picking up a pair of his signature shoes, his 14th model over many years of loyal service.

It’s not often these days that skate shoes are made with extra durability to deal with technical wear, but Daewon has added a rubber ollie patch so that your feet can deal with grip tape rub, making your shoes last longer. These also come with a suede collar lining to help avoid heel flip blowouts and a non-slip vulcanized outsole with deep herringbone tread.

They come in either canvas or suede and are available now in your local skate shop. Look out for them.

Introducing Shredlights for your skateboard

shredlights

This week’s skateboard accessory comes in the form of lights for night shreds. With their motto: Cracks Kill! So join the war on cracks, these guys believe they have managed to design the perfect under-board lights that will assist your night time skateboard malarkey – taking 12 seconds to put them on weighing a light 0.15 pounds.

We can see them working to assist your ride but not sure if they would work if you were filming due to glare. You can always take them off though easily. One bonus is every one else in the sesh could light the spot if you don’t have a generator to lug about.

These are launching on kick starter on Go Skateboarding Day, June 21st. You decide whether you want them.

Owner Josh Russ Tuppert skates and chose the whitefish for its shape, it also comes with a repro of the shop’s iconic waxed wrapping paper.
