C Rayz Walz will be releasing his new album The Dropping soon.
The album will be his first for Urchin Studios after having left Def Jux and will feature the song Childhood which features Matisyahu.
There will only be 3,000 copies of the album with no possibility for reprints. The album is due to feature the likes of Poison Pen, Rahzel, 4th Pyramid and even The Blizzard, the kid he was a MADE coach for on MTV.

News is coming about the new Dinosaur Jr album which is out this year.
The record, Beyond, is the first full length since Hand It Over came out in 1997 and will be the first to feature Lou Barlow, who left the band in 1989.
The album is going to be out on May 1st on Fat Possum Records and there are plans to bring out a Dinosaur Jr live DVD a week later, featuring footage from their reunion tour. The tracklisting for the new album is:

Funeral For A Friend have blooged on their myspace regarding their new album.
The Welsh group have completed the tracking for the new album, which is titled Tales Don’t Tell Themselves and go on to say that its the most excited they’ve been since recording the 4 Ways To Scream Your Name EP.
The record is due to be released in May and will be toured when they hit the road next.

The Wu are back and ready to release a new crew album this year.
After teaming up with Steve Rifkind, who released their debut album on his label, all nine Clans members will be on the new record, including ODB. Reports are that the album will be called 8 Diagrams and is named after a Kung Fu film.
The first Wu Tang record in six years will feature RZA, GZA, Ghostface, Raekwon, Masta Killa, U-God, ODB, Inspektah Deck and Method Man and will contain an unreleased performance by ODB. RZA said of the new record:
“This is the perfect time for us to come back, the stars are aligned. It’s like when we first started with Steve. We put out real hip-hop at a time when it was turning into pop or R&B. We brought the focus back to the music in its rawest form, without studio polish or radio hooks.”
Legendary band are due to come back with original frontman.
Reports are saying that Van Halen are close to agreeing a deal that will see them tour the USA with original front man Dave Lee Roth who recently had his radio show with CBS Radio cancelled.
Sammy Hagar, who had been the band’s most recent singer, quit after their 2004 tour after falling out with Eddie Van Halen.
Jimi Hendrix‘s image is to be used on the front of a drink.
The legendary guitarist will have his face put on Liquid Experience, a non-alcoholic drink, which will be in shops in April. However this has angered and upset many fans including Flea from the Chili Peppers, who said:
“To see his image and the beautiful feelings it has created in me cheapened by advertising is very disappointing.”
However, it is said that the profits will go to an unnamed music education foundation.
Bright Eyes have posted up the first track from their forthcoming EP.
