Marilyn Manson’s Bits

Marilyn Manson is well known for being a little bit odd.

This year, for example, he’s built a robot girlfriend, is getting ready to tackle the world snake bath record and is due in court for allegedly spending his band members’ royalties on skeletons of Chinese children and men in wheelchairs. However, if the shock rocker’s latest claims are to be believed, Manson’s innate weirdness is perhaps genetic.

Mr Manson claims his mother, Barb Warner, keeps his foreskin (which the singer parted company with in 1969) in a jar and likes to “wave it around” at family gatherings.

“We’re hoping to sell it at Sotheby’s one day,” says Manson.

Minor Threat get saucy!

A Minor Threat Sauce is now available to spice up your dinner.

Wheelhouse Pickles, who make the sauce, said:

“Like the Loch Ness Monster or gravity, the existence of a gentle-finishing habanero pepper sauce has scientists baffled. Made from a rare, mild breed of habaneros grown specifically for us, Minor Threat draws its inspiration from the legendary West Indies’ mustard- and mango-based habanero sauces, only it mysteriously priviledges the pepper’s fruitiness over its notoriously overwhelming heat.

We may never fully understand Minor Threat’s ability to take sandwiches, grilled meats, corn chips or eggs to the next level without annihilating your esophagous in the process, but don’t let science’s shortcomings get in the way of your slathering habits.”

The only request MacKaye had of the spread was for the packaging not parody the band’s famous “Bottled Violence” image.

Doomtree

Let’s open the scene:

Abjekt says: I’m doing a Doomtree buzzer, shall I just suck cock for the entire thing?
Moose says: Yes, completely.

So, with Moose’s backing, welcome to the wonderful world of Abjekt Loves Doomtree. The Minneapolis crew have been tearing the underground of hip hop various levels of new arseholes for a while and with a crew record expected in 2008, they very kindly put out a crew False Hopes, comprising tunes that weren’t quite up to scratch for the album.

After hearing the record, it’s clear to me that Doomtree have just wiped the floor with 99% of music with their scraps. If this is anything to go by, their crew album is going to blow brains faster than a Bangkok ladyboy with Guinness World Records on his mind. The track you can hear by clicking above is Knives On Fire. A banging beat and some militant rhyming from Sims, POS and Mictlan says it all, so get to clickety-clicking and nod your motherfucking head sucker.

“You’re mad coz you don’t make moves, you’re sad coz you can’t break through, you’re bad and now you hate Doomtree, knives on fire motherfucker, make room” they tell us, and who are we to argue? Take cover, Doomtree are here.

Abjekt.
