Marilyn Manson and his father don full make-up for photoshoot

manson&son

Crowned king of the freak show, Marilyn Manson, has revealed he actually has a real-life human father, despite customary beliefs that he is an extra-terrestrial being. Unsurprisingly, his old man is just as wacky as he is.

In a recent shoot for Paper Magazine, Hugh Warner, father of Brian, showed his utmost support for his son’s musical career by appearing alongside him in full make-up. In the accompanying interview, Manson Jr reveals, “the first time I saw my dad in makeup was, ironically, the second concert I ever went to. He dressed as Gene Simmons and took me to the Kiss ‘Dynasty’ tour when I was 11. And people were asking my dad for his autograph.

Like father, like son. Check out the fascinating photos and interview here on Paper Magazine.

Gavin Clark RIP

gavin_clark-ripThose who are lovers of Fully Flared, the Spike Jonze and Ty Evans Lakai skateboarding flick that came out in 2007, may remember ‘Heaven’, a tune by UNKLE that ran in the credits at the end whilst the explosions filled the screen. The track featured the wonderful vocal work of Gavin Clark who unfortunately passed this week.

“Gavin was a beautiful man, a wonderful friend and father. A man of unimaginable talent, wit and spirituality, and had a voice like no other. One of the greatest and most unique artists I have had the pleasure to work with. He will be deeply missed.” – James Lavelle

Geezer Butler bar brawl creates Midlands earthquake

geezer_butler_black_sabbath

The East Midlands was rocked by an earthquake last night recorded at 3.8 in magnitude as over 1000 reports of tremors and buildings shaking were logged from people in Oakham and as far away as Dudley, where nothing ever happens.

The tremors were said to have lasted up to 10 seconds at a time, fueled by deafening roars that went to ’11’. Many heavy metal fans in the Birmingham area believe this to be directly linked to an aftershock from a punch thrown by Black Sabbath’s infamous bass player Geezer Butler, whose bar brawl in Death Valley, California was said to have been laden with seismic Satan approved energy, blowing out windows in the Corkscrew Saloon at Furnace Creek Ranch.

Butler, aged 65, was immediately arrested, put behind bars and charged for using highly illegal heavy metal superpowers for a misdemeanour assault, public intoxication and vandalism. Neither Butler nor Black Sabbath have issued an official statement as broken glass and tiles are swept up on both sides of the Atlantic and structural engineers assess the damage to offices, homes, churches and cathedrals.

Sources inside the police station are said to have banned lead singer Ozzy Osbourne from visiting the bass player as it’s rumoured that Butler and other Sabbath band members use a secret power socket as a direct source to regenerate their superpowers.

Ian Brown gives evidence against former teacher

talbot-brown

A court room in Manchester today was surprised to see none other than Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown giving evidence against his former school teacher Fred Talbot, who taught him biology the 70s.

Testifying as part of a case to bring Talbot’s alleged seedy past to justice, Brown walked into the court room and told the jury how the sex offender had “..showed me a film. It was years before I realised it had been wrong to show us that film. It was a three minute film on Super 8 projector and a young guy walks into a room dressed in denims, sits on the bed, takes his trousers down and masturbates. It was only a few years later I realised it was perhaps a gay porn film. It wasn’t a sex education film.”

Brown’s involvement in this case sees him give evidence only and is not a victim of the alleged indecent assaults on boys carried out on children aged as young as 14 at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys School in Cheshire in the late 60s and 70s.

In related news, the Anonymous group today launched their date of Friday 13th February as the day to take to the streets in their fight to raise more attention on outing those who should be brought to justice for their involvement in crimes like this. Keep up to date online with #OpDeathEaters.
