Shaun Ryder and his Happy Mondays are to play a gig in a chip shop.
The band will play in Brighton before their comeback tour of the UK as part of the T-Mobile street gigs season. To get tickets, register at www.t-mobile.co.uk/music before Friday [11th May] and you could be in with a chance to see them. Ryder said of the gig:
“I love Brighton. Like us it’s sleazy and mucky and cool and funky…It’s the first time we’ll have played the new stuff. Anyone who doesn’t like ’em will be chucked into the sea.”
