Pendulum reveal new drummer

Pendulum have announced that world renowned electronic drummer KJ Sawka has joined the band.

Sawka has already made a contribution to the band having drummed on their forthcoming LP Immersion, and will be introduced to UK audiences when they tour the country in May.

Noisia release their hugely anticipated debut ‘Split the Atom’ on April 5th and the launch party will be at Fabric.

Trent Reznor hints at new NIN album

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has teased fans over twitter regarding the possibility of a new record.

Reznor has posted a series of studio photos to the social networking site in recent weeks, the latest of which comes with the caption “last day of the session!”

In late 2009 the singer had discussed his plans for the coming year, stating that he was working on a Nine Inch Nails album and an another unrelated project.

Gaslamp Killer to hit Deviation

Deviation have announced their next line up.

The event, which takes place at The Gramaphone in London, will see Floating Points and legendary Gaslamp Killer join resident Benji B on April 7th. Tickets are £5 before 11pm, £7 after and doors open at 9pm. It’s likely to be rammery, so get there early if you don’t want to miss out.

DC based psychedelic rockers Dead Meadow will return to the UK in May.

The band is set to release their double LP and film project, The Three Kings, on May 17th, but and will be in the country shortly after for a full length tour.

Heartsounds sign to Epitaph

San Francisco punks Heartsounds have signed with Epitaph Records, the label has revealed.

Heartsounds were formed from the ashes of melodic death-metal band Light This City, but have now returned to their punk rock roots.

Heartsounds’ debut album is expected to be released this summer.

The Bundles hit the road

Anti-folk super group The Bundles, whose eponymous debut album was released earlier this month, will play a string of UK dates this coming May.

The band consists of ex-Mouldy Peach Kimya Dawson, anti-folk veteran Jeffrey Lewis and his brother Jack, drummer Anders Griffen and prolific singer songwriter Karl Blau. Rarely is the term ‘super group’ used so appropriately.

The band will be over in the UK this coming May, playing the following dates;
