New Les Savy Fav album?

Les Savy Fav are looking to release their next studio album in September.

Bass player Syd Butler spoke to the NME, saying the new album would be heavier than their last album, 2007’s Let’s Stay Friends. He went on to say:

“We’re not buying atmospheric gizmos to fill out space on the songs…They’re all three-and-a-half minutes long, they’re more compact and concise. This record feels a lot more ’90s – closer to our roots.”

We can’t wait!
