The wonderful Dischord Records label have announced this week that they will re-issue 2 classic albums this winter. Collectors will be stoked to hear that Pass And Stow by Lungfish and also Dark Days Coming by Three (a Crossfire favourite) will both be available once again on vinyl and CD formats. Element have welcomed a new rider to their am ranks this morning. Boo Johnson managed to get on their radar after winning an Elemental Awareness comp in California back in 2007 and has upped his game since.

The Crayon team hit the road for their Summer Tour throughout August. Enjoy this first video edit from the session at Wheelscape’s Taunton park put together by Nick Richards and John Fisher that was uploaded today featuring Chris Jones, Dan Wileman, Korahn Gayle, Paul ‘Barber’ Cooper, James Coyle, Welsh Tommy and guest skaters Nicky Howells and Barney Page.
The Bournemouth crew are a pretty unique bunch, always down for a session and always up for having a bloody good laugh.
This weekend the NPNG and friends were all involved in a Tranny Jam hosted on the concrete of their local at Kings Park bringing much laughter and some hilarious outfits to boot. Look out for a video edit soon as no doubt it will be priceless when it drops!

Fresh out of the many Emerica boxes this Autumn is Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long’s fourth pro shoe. The Situation is a very light mid-top that comes with a suede and canvas upper in black, brown and green and a light blue, navy tan colour.
There are only 3 lace holes on display, which is a plus in my book as the more laces that are on a shoe, the more chance you have of breaking them. The tongue is fairly thin and compliments the overall shape. The padded canvas on this mid adds protection against stray decks heading for your ankles during sessions, but that is if you actually decide that this shoe should be your choice for skating in. Spanky’s new model could also be your favourite new chiller; the sort of shoe your feet will be stoked to be in after a session rather than during it.
The sole is quite thin so board control is perfect which confirms there is an argument here that these are great for skating in too but that’s personal opinion and one you will have to make yourself once you have these in your hands. Either way these are seriously comfortable, stylish and overall winners so grab some from your local SOS and start this autumn with happy feet.
