A great example of the garage tones that eminate from the new Ty Segall & White Fence album ‘Hair‘ can be found here with a session version of the track “Time.” It’s a great introduction to a new album released this week that has been gracing our stereo here at the office made up of Californian song writer Ty Segall and Darker My Love’s Tim Presley.
Presley takes the lead on most of the vocals and lead guitars across the eight tracks on this short but sweet collab album and Segall can be found banging the drums and taking care of rhythm guitar. If your ears are warmed by 60’s inspired psych garage and indie then you should enjoy what these guys are doing here. Search and you will not be disappointed.

Ex Gallows singer Frank Carter has finally released the first offering from his new musical project Pure Love this week. Switching from raging hardcore to mainstream 80’s rock, this new song written with ex Hope Conspiracy member Jim Carroll has divided the Gallows fanbase like a marmite bomb and has more in common sound wise with Manic Street Preachers, Journey and The Darkness than previous mentors Black Flag, surprising many.
