Blue Streak

bluestreak_louis_cooper_robinson

Blue Streak is a new upcoming film project shot by camera operator and director Max Witting and edited by James ‘Slimjim’ Cheetham that will concentrate more on the cinematography of skateboarding with visuals and lighting. We spoke to Louis Cooper Robinson who features in this pilot clip today about what they are working on:

“It’s going to be a short film for the web, aiming to be cut by Easter and we are looking to incorporate interesting production design and almost skateboarding choreography to go with with the style of camera work and light. It will be shot on a range of high speed cameras including the Alexa and Red’s shot in London in studio and street.” Enjoy this as a taster of what’s to come.

Slayer Christmas lights to Raining Blood

slayer_christmas_lights_raining_blood

Let’s face it, your Christmas light efforts are probably minimal. I guess they consist of wrapping them round a tree and maybe if you are that arsed, some on the porch right? Well this bloke Slayer Bob in the US risked his marriage for this one but I reckon he gained a few mates. Stick with it until it kicks in.

Independent Masters shirt and Screaming tee

independent_trucks_masters_shirtIndependent Trucks have a great selection on winter wear to keep your cockles warm in the deep freeze over the next few months.

We were sent one of these Masters cotton flannel shirts last week to put to the test and were not disappointed. The flannel itself is super warm and ridiculously soft, almost like fuzzy felt on first touch but stronger of course. Double breast pockets that are big enough for your wallet are the focal point of the design that comes with minimal branding. A small Indy logo is stitched on the left hand breast pocket and on the inside of the final button area but that’s it. Note that these also come in red/black and green black lumberjack style.

To completely conquer the cold you can check out Independent’s new t-shirt range to wear underneath, particularly the Screaming tee that is velvet to the touch with it’s 100% cotton and discharge fade print.

If the words soft, snug, cozy and warm are music to your ears this winter then look no further. Head to doubleoverhead.co.uk to pick these up.
