This switch bonnet ride is worth watching alone in this new San Francisco edit featuring a bunch of Jonathan Perez, James Capps, Josh Robertson, Calvin Luu, Dustin Henry, Nolan Waller, Greg Demartini and Kai Gormsen. Not a goddam hill bomb in sight.

This concept Hoverboard thing is doing the rounds again following this plea for funding, this time with Tony Hawk talking the talk alongside balding bore-fest Moby, and a bunch of other people we have never heard of. It’s as bad as Santa Cruz’s Star Wars launch video this week for sure.
Obviously between them they have created the best bit of bullshit this side of Jim Bowen’s Lancashire caravan plot. Can’t wait for ‘Back to the Future’ – the musical.

OFF!‘s new video for their ‘Hypnotized‘ track features none other than David Yow from the Jesus Lizard dressed as a caped crusader with a nose full of chore fighting T.S.O.L’s Jack Grisham!
Quite fitting considering the last time I had the pleasure of meeting David Yow was in a dressing room at a Girls Against Boys / Done Lying Down show at the Venue in New Cross in the 90s. He asked about what UK weed I had on me, told him it was quite strong and he yeah-yeah’ed me, taking a massive woof on my bowl with a look of “I know what’s up” on his face….he puked his guts up ten minutes later.
Anyway, back to this OFF! video. It’s fucking rad. What more did you expect from hardcore’s leaders right now? New album ‘Wasted Years’ cannot come soon enough.
April 7th on Vice. Pre-order it.

This morning saw the release of brand new and unseen footage from Hell Yeah Son‘s personal hard drive with 15 minutes of the Essex scene represented in one firm hit.
Friends, family and good times are all included with footage of Milk Skateboards’ Charlie Munro and Witchraft’s Mikey Joyce. alongside Chelmsford champ Nick Remon who throws down speedy lines and building-to-building roof gaps.
Filmer, Alex Diss shows a real representation of the Essex skate scene and those further a field in this. Well done to all involved.

Selfridges are really going to town on their fashionable skateboard section right now. Check out this Sacai effort, a snip at £8500 that comes with a warning from Selfridges – “Due to the delicate nature of this item it is a display piece only, skating is not advised.” No shit sherlock.
Next up is Alexandra McQueen’s estate, who have produced this denim-topped nightmare. “Designed exclusively for Selfridges, this board is the easiest way to maintain your high-fashion credentials down at the half-pipe.” It’s steal at just £1000. If McQueen had turned up mall grabbing that at his local park, it surely would have saved him a job.

Or you could spend a nifty £4000 on this deck made by Caité. “Handcrafted with thousands of glass pearls, this one-off skateboard deck custom made by the Ciaté London team is a truly luxe way to travel. An ode to the original and best-known Rainbow Caviar Manicure which caused a Beauty storm back in March 2012, the board was glossed with a slick of Strawberry Milkshake pink and coated with multicoloured sprinkles, giving it that cupcake sprinkle finish.”
Did you actually just read that?! There is no end to this nightmare, and there are so many more. Wait until you see the helmet…

Deathwish ripper Moose had a claim for the most successful amount of footage last year and here’s even more from Chris Ray’s recaptured tapes.
There’s always more.

It looks likely watching this full section from 19 year old upcomer Chase Webb that Thunder Trucks are going to be busy in the future. The kid is a grind-a-holic.

Previously unseen demo footage of Keenan Milton (RIP) has been uploaded to Crailtap overnight. This footage was taken from an Australian demo in Melbourne, 1995.
