PMFS explain split

Planes Mistaken For Stars have posted an explanation for their recent split.

The band collectively said that there were many reasons for their split including family ties and financial strain, but that the over-riding reasons was that they “just felt it was time”. They went onto say there was no angry splitting and finished by saying:

“I have no doubt that we could continue to write balls to the wall music. Maybe someday, but for now, it’s just time for change. It’s been one hell of a ride! The past 10 years have flown by and we’ve had experiences we could never have dreamed of. Thank you all for being a part of it. And so, Farewell!”

Reznor to make TV show?

Reports are coming in that Nine Inch Nails are set to turn their Year Zero album into a TV show.

The show will centre around a right-wing, religious dictatorship of the USA, which reflects the themes on the album. Trent Reznor said of the project, which he would also like to turn into a film:

“We’ve got a producer on board and have met with writers. We’re about to pitch it to the network, so we’re a couple of weeks away from meeting all of the main people, and we’ll see what happens.”

Kareem Campbell Pro Destructo

Yeah, he’s still skating with all the ease and steez from way back then, and finally Kareem Campbell gets his first Pro truck on Destructo.

The limited edition truck is about as bling as you can get, with an allover black and gold print hanger, and, wait for it, a gold-plated baseplate. So you’d better start saving your pennies if you want a pair of these. And be prepared for pikeys following behind you and scraping up your expensive grindmarks to turn into sovereign rings.
