Soundset Festival line up announced

Minnesota’s Soundset Festival announced their line up for 2011 yesterday and it’s a biggun.

Atmosphere take their usual slot as headliners and this year will be ably supported by Big Boi, De La Soul, the entire Doomtree crew, Dilated Peoples, Slaughterhouse, Brother Ali, Edan, Looptroop, Zion I, Blueprint, DJ Abilities, Exile and many more.

It’s been the highlight of the hip hop calendar for the past three years and is no doubt going to be the same this year. We should be there again so keep those eyes peeled for a review. Check out below for Wiz Khalifa killing it last year.

Watch: Grieves & Budo on St Val’s Day

Rhymesayers duo Grieves & Budo have dropped a new video for Valentine’s Day, to ensure the whole world feels loved.

The track is called Pack It Up and you can grab it for free, yep, absolutely free, right here.

We hope you got chocolates and flowers yesterday and if you didn’t, then go and buy some for yourself and say balls to Cupid.

Watch: New Blueprint video

Normally on Crossfire you’d expect Blueprint to be in Skate News, but this time we’re talking about the Ohio rapper Blueprint, who is dropping his new album Adventures in Counter-Culture on March 1st on Rhymesayers Entertainment.

No need to beat around the bush, let’s just get straight into it below. If you’re into it, you can check out his free EP here!

Atmosphere release photography book

Atmosphere are releasing a book of photography from over the years.

Dan Monick, a close friend who has followed the group around for the past decade across the world has taken many photos from behind-the-scenes and the hardcover 272 page book shows these photos in all their glory.

Two versions are available – the standard edition features 272 page book, a 15 track Rhymesayers compilation CD and a deluxe edition features all that as well as an exclusive 10″ copy of To All My Friends, the first of the two new Atmosphere EPs. You can order yours from Fifth Element. One for the hardcore fans!
