Death Skateboards release extra long longboard!

Death Skateboards have a new deck ready for the summer that should see your tre flips hits the clouds. The extra long longboard is crafted from Brazilian rosewood and is available in your local skate shop for £299 (with £149.99 postage and packaging). Please note though that Death do not warrantee this product against entanglement with overhead cables or low flying unicorns.

A week in the life of Death Skateboards

Death release Horror deck series and team update

Patrick Melcher, Dan Cates, Benson, Dave Allen and Rob Smith all have new pro decks this month on Death Skateboards. The Horror series is the latest in Death’s Spring deck run illustrated by artist Alex Duke “who shreds hard as well as being a rad artist.”

Speaking to Zorlac last night, footage is steadily coming from all over the globe in for their forthcoming Ordinary Madness DVD. Zarosh has just hand screened a new run of his custom shape ‘Bleeding Heart’ decks. You can see the new top screen print below. Dan Cates is celebrating a fan tattooing his signature on their arse cheek. Manchester’s Rob Smith is getting better from a back injury due to a nasty slam and Dave Allen is enjoying the new skatepark down the road from his house in Atlanta. Last but never least, Australian trick machine Richie Jackson just got a Slap Pals questions feature that you can see if you scroll down this page.

Death Skateboards release new team deck and news

We spoke to Zorlac last night for an update of what’s going on in at Death HQ. The team are currently preparing the Ordinary Madness video as you read this so expect an announcement soon on when it will be screening. As the footage gets cut, the rest of the team are busy out there on a daily basis. Richie Jackson just won the Helliez Award under the category ‘Biggest Treat of 2011’ with that amazing firecracker kickflip out down a set of stairs that was highlighted on our homepage for a month last year.

Dan Cates just got a photo skating a UK backyard pool in the new Thrasher mag whilst at home, a new 8.0″ Team Issue deck has been released into your local skater owned shop so keep an eye out for the hazard sign when visiting. Death am Dean Palmer enjoyed his stay here in the UK and trips to Spain and America on his recent vacation and is now on his way back to Australia. Before he left he found time to film amongst other things this ‘How To 360 Flip’ at the XC park in Hemel Hempstead. Watch it here.

Death Skateboards release Bod tribute deck

Death Skateboards have issued a tribute deck to Dean ‘Bod’ Brodrick who sadly passed away last month. This graphic was the last Bod designed for Death before he passed. Royalties from the sales of this deck will go to Dean’s partner Sarah and their daughter Poppy.

Look out for the Death team at the Crossfire Xmas Jam next Saturday, 10th December.

Death Skateboards release ltd Sexton Ming collab deck
