Winnipeg Unravels 44,000 sq/ft Of Woah!

June 29th, 2006 by Crossfire

If ever you get invited to Winnipeg, Canada, say “Yes!” The city is about to open a brand new concrete skatepark the Forks that spans 44,000 square feet and has replicas and inspirations drawn from Barcelona, Japan and San Fransisco. Top the ledges with granite and spin out on the 17 foot cradle and you’re only halfway there. A special feature to the Newline designed park is a “magic carpet” concrete wave thing!?!

The opening date is June 30th and a start-studded line of Alien Workshop pros and ams are going to be there to try it out demo-style.
