Tony Hawk to appear in Hill Street skate documentary

Yesterday Tony Hawk insta’d the news that he would be in Dublin for a Halloween surprise which left us all a big baffled as to what exactly he was up to. Today it has been revealed that he is speaking at today’s Web Summit to discuss how he became CEO of his own company and his inclusion in a new skateboarding documentary called Hill Street.

The film, produced by Warrior Films with support from the Irish Film Board, covers the story of the Irish skateboarding scene and the influence of Clive’s skateshop of Hill Street who built ramps in the shop and was also behind the build of the Top Hat Ballroom in South Dublin. The film features memoirs from Alex Moul, Rich Gilligan, Wayne Gallagher and more from the Irish skate scene and will be distributed by Wildcard Distribution.
