The first of two new skateparks being built in Cambridge by Canvas has opened officially this weekend in time for the summer sessions ahead. You can find it at Nuns Way Recreation Ground on Kirkwood Road in Cambridge. Map here.

We will have updates on the Cherry Hinton skatepark build soon but sources tell us that work has started on it today and it’s likely that it will be completed and ready to skate by mid June. You can see the revised design at the bottom of this post.

Until then, enjoy this first Canvas build. It’s a small budget park built with quality in mind and it will enable new sessions for locals from today onwards. So find it, shred it and enjoy it.
