New Canvas skatepark for Peacehaven

Check out some more magic work that our friends CANVAS Spaces have sent us to launch today. The locals of Peacehaven in East Sussex are about to see the start of a new park build before the summer kicks in with Lewes District Council behind the funding.

Following a survey on the design front, The Big Parks Project and local skaters have chosen CANVAS to design and build the skatepark. The design you see here is still in its concept stage so expect some minor amendments.

With 600m2 of concrete, the space will boast a bowl, ledges, steps, rail, a brick bank, mogul elements and a unique feature nod to the area which sits on the zero degree of the Meridian line which is part of a large Bronze-age archaeological site. Yep. Mad hippie shit! The skatepark sits within a large open space which is part of a larger project development to include a café and a car park.

We will bring you photos when they drop but for now have a peep at these and follow CANVAS on FB.
