Harrow Jam rocks the Weald

The weather eventually cracked late on at Solid Surf today but despite the threat of downpours, hundreds of people gathered to make some noise to help save the legendary Harrow skate park. Best comp tricks went down in front of packed crowds with Darryl Dominguez taking a flip fs air over the bollocks whilst Dan Cates shredded the nuts on 3 decks instead of one.

The concrete half pipe was nailed by a sick front blunt from Carl Wilson who once again turned up and laid it down. His Duffs team mate Ben Raemers also ripped the crete with wild nosepicks and disaster reverts despite skating with an injured knee. Eventually the damp, cold weather kicked in and stopped play, but everyone was up for it and the atmosphere rocked. In the end, free shit was tossed out, punk bands played raw hardcore and as the booze kicked in, the traditional, beer can and shoe fight took centre stage!

Well done to everyone involved as this great scene turnout should have raised awareness of the importance of saving and renovating Solid Surf Skatepark. We will bring you some footage and a gallery feature soon but watch this documentary below for the pitch.
