Cliver and Whiteley interviews

Artist Sean Cliver came back with another incredible book this year to follow the wonderful Disposable: A History of Skateboard Art, released back in 2004 that covered a plethora of classic deck graphics.

Cliver’s latest book The Disposable Skateboard Bible is stuffed with graphical history of skateboard art ranging from neanderthal, clay wheel planks to your modern day rig and features anecdotes from Mark “Gator” Rogowski, George Powell, Mike Vallely, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Mark Gonzales, CR Stecyk III, Rodney Mullen and many more.

Read an interview with Sean at Slap that just went live today and keep an eye on our RSS feed for an interview here at Crossfire this weekend with Slap’s Mark Whiteley who discusses his new book This Is Not A Photo Opportunity and much more.
