Suge Knight, the owner of Deathrow Records, is as always, involved in controversy. His former associate Lydia Harris is currently in court claiming she helped start the rap label and wants a cut of the profits, which the courts ordered to happen last year.
The next girls jam will take place on Saturday 27th May at Pioneer Skate Park in St Albans. It will be between the hours of 12 – 5pm. The first two hours will be a jam format where everybody gets to skate together. Then there will then be competitions for those who want to enter: Under/over 18’s and sponsored Street and Midi.
Stretch Arm Strong will be heading back to the UK this month with last year’s tour mates, Story Of The Year in April. They have also announced two headline dates:
Radiohead are back in the studio with Mark Stent working on the follow up to the Hail To The Thief album, saying that, contrary to rumours, the album won’t be politically based. Thom Yorke claims it is about anonymous fear, and compared it to writing OK Computer, though he said it is “much more terrifying”.
The Foo Fighters are gearing up for an acoustic tour, which will include a violinist, a pianist and a percussionist and will start rehearsing as soon as drummer Taylor Hawkins returns from his tour with side project The Coattail Riders.
Well, they did it. Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo’s Gnarls Barkley have made music history by becoming the first single to go to number one in the charts through download sales only. Crazy knocked Ne-Yo off the top spot and kept Morrissey away from the challenge by selling over 30,000 downloads.

If you have been skating for more than 2 years you will be bound to know that Circa shoes have lost a lot of their top riders to companies such as Fallen, Osiris and the mighty Globe. This may have damaged their previous reputation of having one of the strongest shoe teams in the business but they still manage to make some kick ass shoes.
