You know when you have one of those mornings and you reminisce at what you miss from the good old days? Well here’s one of those. A while back my Grandfather was fighting cancer until one day the doctors said they could do no more and he had approx’ 6 weeks to live. They unplugged his Hickman line and he left the hospital for home a different man. As he left the big white walls, he rolled up to the car singing ‘take these chains from my heart and set me free‘ and then gave my Mum the biggest hug you could receive. He died exactly 6 weeks later and we miss him loads. This one’s for him…
